This page shows how to activate the site key and send it to the person who does the setup on site.
Who it is for: Admins who set up sites and devices, and the technician or site contact who helps on site.

Each site has its own site key. It looks like GCSK-1234-5678. The person on site enters this key in the local agent. The key tells the agent which site it works for. You only need the site key for devices in a private network (Private Camera Setup (Local Agent)) and for GC Edge.
A site key must be active when it is used on site. An activation lasts 30 minutes.
Symptom | Cause | What to do |

The on-site contact says the key is not accepted | The 30-minute activation has ended. | Open Send site key and click Activate site key again. Ask the contact to retry within 30 minutes. |
The on-site contact did not receive the key | Wrong number or address, or the e-mail is in spam. | Open Send site key, choose the other channel or correct the address in step 2, and send again. |
WhatsApp or e-mail cannot be chosen | The site has no contact phone or contact e-mail. | Enter the number or address in step 2, or add it with Edit site. |
"Site key is not available yet" | The site was just created. | Click Refresh status or reload the page. |
