A site is one location, for example one building or one customer address. Every device belongs to a site. Operators receive alarms per site, so use one site per real location and give it a clear name.
Who it is for: Admins who set up sites and devices, and the technician or site contact who helps on site.
Watch:
Field | Notes |
|---|---|
Site name | Required. Operators see this name on the wall and your alarm system sees it in reports. |
Contact email | Optional. The site key can be sent to this address. |
Contact phone | Optional, with country code. The site key can be sent to this number by WhatsApp. |
The site appears in the table with its Site key and the state Active.
Deleting a site permanently deletes the site and its linked devices. This cannot be undone.
Symptom | Cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
"Could not create the site. Please try again." | A temporary problem. | Try again. Check that the site name is filled in. |
You deleted a site by mistake | Deleting is permanent. | Add the site and its devices again. The new site gets a new site key. |
Can I add one camera to two sites? No. A device belongs to one site.
Who can add sites and devices? Admins. Operators have no access to Sites & Cameras.
