Accept Your Invitation as an Operator

When a Super Admin invites you to GC Surge, you receive an email to activate your account. Follow these steps to set your password, sign in, and reach your Operator Dashboard.

Step 1 — Set your password

  1. Check your inbox for an email from support@nxgen.io with the subject “Reset your password”.
  2. Open the email and click Confirm to approve the password change request.
  3. On the Change Your Password page, enter your new password in the New password field and again in Re-enter new password. Your password must contain: At least 8 characters At least 3 of the following: lowercase letters (a–z), uppercase letters (A–Z), numbers (0–9), special characters (e.g. !@#$%^&*)
  4. Click Reset password.
  5. A “Password Changed!” confirmation screen confirms your password is active.

Step 2 — Sign in

  1. Go to the GC Surge login page.
  2. Enter your email address and new password.
  3. Click Sign In.

Step 3 — Complete onboarding

The first time you sign in, a 3-step setup wizard guides you through account activation.

1. Welcome A summary of your Operator role is shown, including the four things you will do in GC Surge: access assigned sites and camera feeds, respond to alarms in real time, track performance and streaks, and coordinate with your team. Choose your preferred language, then click Continue.

2. Your Profile Confirm your display name — this is how teammates will see you in the app. Optionally upload a profile photo. Click Continue.

3. All Set A confirmation screen shows that your profile is saved, sites are linked to your shift, and alerts are routed to your queue. Click Enter Surge to go to your Operator Dashboard.

Your Operator Dashboard

After onboarding you land on the Operator Dashboard. The top row shows your shift metrics:

  • SITES ASSIGNED — sites routed to you this shift
  • CAMERA ASSIGNED — cameras assigned for alarm handling
  • ALARM PROCESSED — alarms you have handled this shift
  • ALARM PROCESSING — your average time to process an alarm

The QUEUED SITES ASSIGNED TO YOU panel on the left lists sites with pending alarms. Click the eye icon on any queued site to open ZenMode and begin reviewing alarms.

Click Start Shift in the top-right corner to begin your shift and start the clock.
