Demo Site & Go-Live Checklist

To remove the demo cameras:

1. In the top bar, click Sites & Cameras.
2. Click Remove demo site with devices above the list of sites.
3. You see "Demo site with devices removed successfully." While the trial runs, the button then changes to Add demo site with devices, so you can add the demo cameras again. This is not possible once your own cameras send alarms.

You can also delete each demo site on its own: in the row of the demo site, click Actions > Delete site.

Checklist Before a Site Goes Live

1. Every device of the site has the status Receiving alarms.
2. You triggered one test alarm per device and found it in Recordings.
3. A forwarding destination is set (account, site or device) and a confirmed test alarm arrived in your alarm system.
4. At least one operator is invited and has handled a test alarm.
5. The demo sites are removed. GC Surge removes them by itself when your own cameras start sending alarms.

Good to Know

• Use the demo cameras to train operators and to try the wall and the recordings.
• Remove the demo sites before you go live, so that your figures and lists only show real sites.
• Demo alarms are never forwarded to your alarm system.
