Account Settings
Settings is the personal configuration area in GC Surge. Click Settings in the bottom-left sidebar to open the modal. It contains three sections: Personal Information (your account details, available to all users), Close alarm flow tags (closure tag management, Super Admin only), and Configure shifts (shift window setup, Super Admin only). This page covers Personal Information and serves as the index for the full Settings modal.
How to Access
- Click Settings in the bottom-left sidebar.
- The modal opens with Personal Information selected by default.
- To switch sections, click the section name in the left panel of the modal.
Settings Modal Sections
- Personal Information — your account details. Only USER NAME is editable. Covered on this page.
- Close alarm flow tags — create and manage the closure tags operators select when closing alarms in ZenMode. Super Admin only. See Configure Tags.
- Configure shifts — define shift time windows that drive the Focus Zone default in ZenMode and the reference period for performance metrics. Super Admin only. See Alarm Center — Admin View.
Personal Information Fields
Only USER NAME is editable. All other fields are read-only and can only be changed by a Super Admin.
- USER NAME — your display name shown to other users and in leaderboards. Click the pencil icon next to your name to edit it. Changes take effect immediately.
- EMAIL — the email address linked to your account. Read-only. To change your email, contact your Super Admin.
- ROLE — your assigned role (Super Admin or Operator). Read-only. Role changes must be made by a Super Admin from the Users management screen.
- USER ID — your unique system identifier. Read-only. Referenced in audit trail entries.
